Ron Banks is yet another 'Dramatics' to die young. Banks died yesterday of a heart attack at the age of 58. The singer was part of the music group formed in Detroit in 1962. The group originally performed under the name 'Dynamics' but they changed their name when they scored their first hit single "All Because of You." "Whatcha See is Whatcha Get" was the hit that cemented their position in the music world in 1971.
What has fans and loved ones reeling is that two other members of the group have died of heart attacks and Banks is the third name on the list. The other two includes William “Wee Gee” Howard and Elbert Wilkins who dies at an early age of 49 and 45 respectively.
But Ron Banks died came as a shock to everyone as band mate L.J. Reylonds expressed his sadness saying that Ron was a healthy man and his death is indeed a great loss for everyone.
Ron Banks is survived by his wife and 6 children’s that include four daughters and two sons.
